Water Filters
- Features

The Key feature of the "Puro" range is the pore structure of the ceramic which determines the capability of the product to achieve filtration below one micron. This allows to remove 99,99% of suspended solids and waterborne bacteria down to 0,9 micron "see element specification".

It is self steralising, due to incorporating of silver compound within ceramic, silver level precisely controlled to below "WHO and EPA" levels. Contains granular activated carbon to improve the colour, taste and odour of drinking water.

MAINTENANCE: When the waterflow reduces, remove the element and scrub the candle surface with a stiff brush under running water ensuring that the threaded portion does not get contaminated. Never use soap or detergent. If cleaning fails the flow then the element shoud be changed. In any case the element should be changed every 6 months or 1500 LT. It is important to remember that the outer surface may be covered in harmful bacteria, so sensible hygiene precautions should be taken during handling, cleaning, refitting into the housing, or disposal of the candle.

INSTALLATION
: For optimum performance, new elements should be conditioned by allowing water to flow trough them to waste for 10 minutes; then allow filter to stand unused overnight. Finally run water trough the element to waste for 2 minutes. If the filter stands unused for more than 3 days then allow water to run to waste for 1 minute.
