Electrofusion Fittings,
Tapping Tees & Transition Fittings
Features
Another
of Unidelta's benchmarks is its range of electrofusion fittings,
a handy, quick and safe way for joining and repairing polyethylene
pipes. It is much more effective than traditional joining systems,
such as butt welding.
These special polyethylene fittings have an electrical
resistance on the inside. The thermal energy produced
by the resistance heats the pipe and the fitting
and fuses them together. A specific machine generates
enough welding power according to the diameter of
the pipe, the type of fitting and the outside temperature.
Unidelta fittings
have a 39.5V welding voltage and are connected electrically
by means of 4.7
mm O terminals for PE80 fittings and 4.0 mm ø
PE100 fittings.
Each item shows the bar code for reading with an optical pen, the nominal diameter, the diffusion time and the cooling time.
The series of electrofusion fittings ranges from 20 mm to 315 mm in diameter, depending on the type of configuration, and up to 500 mm for branching saddles that can be installed without emptying the pipe. This type of branching saddle comes with a internal system for perforating the main pipe line and feeding the utility branch immediately.
Most electrofusion fittings from ø 180 mm upwards have an Easi-Grip carrying handle to make them easier to transport during installation.
The Unidelta electrofusion fitting is an unbeatably reliable product that is qualified by numerous quality marks.
Unidelta provides a range of electrofusion fittings with diameters ranging from
20 mm.
